- As Yale does not maintain a visitors parking lot, we recommend that you use the public Grove Street Parking Garage, located at 65 Grove Street. This facility is just a few blocks from Mason Lab. The cost is approximately $20/day. ( New Haven Parking Map - the Grove Street Parking Garage is #2)
- Directions to the Grove Street Parking Garage
From Interstate 91 (north or south): Take Exit 3 (Trumbull Street). At the bottom of the ramp, turn left at the traffic light onto Orange St. Go two blocks and turn right (at the traffic light) onto Grove St. The entrance to the parking garage is on your right, just before the traffic light at Whitney Ave. To get to Mason Lab after parking, continue walking up Grove Street for 2 blocks until you reach Hillhouse Ave. Turn right onto Hillhouse and our building is the 3rd one on your right.
From Interstate 95 (north or south): Take Exit 48 (Merge onto I-91 North); Take Exit 3 (Trumbull Street) and follow the directions above for I-91.
From Route 15 (Wilbur Cross/Merritt Parkways): Take Exit 61. Drive south on Whitney Avenue for approximately five miles. Turn left on Trumbull Street. Continue to the next traffic light and turn right onto Orange Street. Go two blocks and turn right onto Grove Street. The entrance to the parking garage is on your right, just before the traffic light at Whitney Ave. To get to Mason Lab after parking, continue walking up Grove Street for 2 blocks until you reach Hillhouse Ave. Turn right onto Hillhouse and our building is the 3rd one on your right.

- Tweed-New Haven Airport is 10 minutes from the Yale campus by car or taxi but has limited air service. Bradley International Airport (just outside of Hartford) is approx. 60 minutes by car from New Haven. There is frequent shuttle service via CT Limo from there, as well as from the major New York airports (JFK and LaGuardia). Driving time from the NY airports is approx. 2 hours, depending on traffic conditions. From the CT Limo terminal in New Haven, take a taxi to Mason Lab (9 Hillhouse Ave)
- By Train
- MetroNorth (from the New York area) and Amtrak (from the Boston area) have scheduled connections to New Haven. At Union Station in New Haven take a taxi to Mason Lab at 9 Hillhouse Ave.
